In 1984 our company started as Goulburn Valley Apprenticeship Scheme and employed 6 apprentices in it's first year.
Over the next 20 years the name has changed a couple of times and the organisation has become a complex operation combining a complete range of services designed to meet the needs of an ever changing VET sector.
In 2004 The Board of Directors decided that to ensure a quality focus remains for all services provided, the company should re-structure into two separate entities, one focusing on traditional Group Training functions and the other providing the balance of services developed over the past 20 years.
It was seen as an opportunity at this time to also undertake a name change to reflect our ever increasing role in the community. From this THE FACTORY – Building Your Future was born.
We believe it is a name that clearly captures what we are here to do - build peoples futures.
